Workshops and private lessons with Benjamin Galian

“Tango in close embrace with change of rhythms”

7 April 2018 at 11:00–15:00
Venue: City Academy Dance Studio 299 Bluebell Road Norwich NR4 7LP

Benjamin is returning to teach in Norwich again! If you didn’t experience his teaching with Emilia in January, here is your chance. If you did experience their teaching, here is another exciting opportunity with a different topic!

“Tango in close embrace with change of rhythms“
Learning to find comfort in the embrace, coordinate and play with the music with our partner, makes us feel happy with our ability to dance.
This tango seminar seeks to free your dance, to create those fluid moments; reusing what you already learned from tango and / or incorporating new concepts so you can move with greater ease.
We will enjoy the creative processes that tango offers us and we invite you to connect your dance wishes with the possibilities that we will create together.

The workshops will take place in a brand new dance studio in City Academy, Norwich where there is plenty of free parking.  Private lessons on Friday 6th April.

Workshops with Agustin and Natalia

“Enhance the artistic side of your dance. Turning sound into movement.”

Agustin and Natalia.jpg

Two workshops exploring:

  • Duration and Intensity

  • Tone and Timbre

Natalia and Agustin … they have based their teaching methodology on the analysis of movement, creating a study of tango that starts from the deepest essence of movement into the complexity and subjectivity of music interpretation. Building upon each student’s knowledge of body awareness and connection and using simple and rational explanations and exercises, they have taught and guided hundreds of people to expand their body awareness and knowledge about dance, achieving fluid, authentic, harmonic, comfortable and natural movements.
