Improvers class

We call our advanced beginners class “improvers class”. This class anticipates that its students are not complete beginners, but have the most important basic foundations for dancing tango. Experienced dancers like to come to class to support and find it useful, too, to refresh and cement their technique.

We aim to make this class fun and enjoyable! You’ll consolidate the core skills of tango: walking, pivoting and dissociating, and most important of all, connection: to oneself, the ground, the partner, and the music. At the same time you develop the freedom to improvise with new moves.

Time: Thursdays 7:15 – 8:30 pm

Location: Sprowston Diamond Centre, School Lane, NR7 8TR

Cost: £10 per week (we charge students per half-term, not per class)

We offer our students complimentary access to a room for practica after class, from 8:30 – 9:30 pm
